With this in mind, CHARMS, Inc. aspires to take on a role that brings all these people together and gets them working toward a common objective, which is the welfare and betterment of the homeless people in Jacksonville, Florida. At CHARMS, Inc., we are committed to partnering with organizations that have been established to support the homeless, which aligns with the mission and vision of non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation. The following are some organizations/programs in which we plan to enter into mutually-beneficial partnerships with. Changing Homelessness
Our MISSION to guide the community effort and build capacity to prevent and end homelessness, is driven by a team of dedicated professionals who value diversity, equity, inclusion, creativity, and transparency. We believe that long-term, sustainable change happens when strategy, consistency, and intentionality align. Our VISION is clear: An end to homelessness. Changing Homelessness is committed to ensuring that individuals and families are housed permanently and successfully, building strong partnerships, and being good stewards of funding that is leveraged with integrity.
City Rescue Mission
City Rescue Mission, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) corporation that provides food, clothing, shelter, emergency services and residential recovery programs to homeless men, women, and women with children. The organization accepts donations from concerned individuals, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and foundations to carry out its mission, While CHARMS Incorporated Inc. may not be able to provide City Rescue Mission with the required funding at this time, it can offer assistance in the form of transitional housing for the homeless people that cannot be accommodated by the form due to an upsurge in demand or capacity issues.
HUD – Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program
The HUD – Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program is a collaborative effort among the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and local public housing authorities. Under HUD-VASH (VA Supportive Housing), eligible low-income Veterans receive a Section 8 rental voucher plus case management and supportive services from VA.
Lutheran Social Services
Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida was incorporated in 1979 by a consortium of Lutheran churches and Jacksonville community leaders. The organization helps thousands of people each year, from finding them places to live to assisting them with employment. CHARMS, Inc. wants to help Lutheran Social Services accommodate the mentally challenged individuals it supports in Jacksonville, Florida that need shelter. We can support the Lutheran Social Services in its mission by providing transitional housing for the mentally challenged. Being mindful of the importance of community in reshaping the lives of those in need, we are working tirelessly to build connections and close relationships with individuals and other non-profit organizations in Jacksonville.
Mission House
Mission House was a dream of the faith community of the Beaches area for many years. Members and volunteers of Christ Episcopal, Palms Presbyterian, St. Paul’s Catholic and St. Paul’s Episcopal churches (then known as St. Francis Seaside Ministry) were feeding and clothing people who are homeless from their halls, gymnasiums, and even the backs of their station wagons for over ten years.
Operation Barnabas
The mission of Operation Barnabas can be found in our name: Barnabas means “Son of Encouragement.” Our purpose is to provide hope, encouragement, and mentorship to at-risk Clay County veterans and first responders through outreach and resources in a swift and timely manner. By providing sanctuary, meeting physical needs, and linking resources, we endeavor to ignite a positive transformation in those striving to find purpose and meaning.?

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Staff Zone
Staff Zone specializes in meeting the blue-collar staffing needs of the construction, light industrial and special events industries. Since 2004, we have cultivated Best in Class® procedures that bridge workers with jobs. By doing this, we are consistently Constructing Lives™ by bringing economic and social improvements to the people and their communities in which we are located.
Trinity Rescue Mission
Trinity Rescue Mission plays a critical role in the continuum of care for homeless services in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. It is a member of the Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition of Northeast Florida and provides a large percentage of the total available emergency shelter beds in Jacksonville. Additionally, it is one of the only facilities capable of providing emergency services to homeless women with children in Jacksonville. CHARMS Incorporated Inc. will look to partner with trinity rescue mission to support its emergency shelter services for homeless women with children by providing this high-risk group with transitional housing facility.

When you come to Impact Church, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you. Our gatherings last about an hour and 20 minutes, are filled with great music, and include an inspiring message from the Bible by our pastor. We can’t wait to meet you!

Mental Health Resource Center (MHRC)
Founded in Jacksonville in May 1977, Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. (MHRC) is a Florida nonprofit corporation that provides a wide range of behavioral health and social services to the community.
Prisoners for Christ
Through our contract with the City of Jacksonville, we provide free employment services for men and women ex-offenders returning to Duval County.
Jacksonville Reentry Center (JREC)
Re-entry Programs is a nationwide database of services that help incarcerated people get back in to society. We list residential re-entry programs along with organizations that provide resources for those in their re-entry process.
United Way
We are a coalition of hand raisers and game changers. With the help of thousands of donors, volunteers and community partners, we create a community of opportunity where everyone has hope and can reach their full potential.
No Replacement Like Home
Here at No Placement Like Home we understand the benefits of having a place called “home.” We specialize in working with families and their loved ones to secure placement options to help them return back to the community with an Independent Living Facility, ILFS, AFHC, ALF, Transitional Home, or Group Home. Our goal is to help decrease hospitalization frequencies and prevent homelessness by helping you find the right fit for you or your loved ones.
Community Rehabilitation Center (CRC)
Community Rehabilitation Center, Inc. was founded in 1993 in response to the immense community need for a comprehensive mental health program for the minority population on Jacksonville’s North side. Since the agency’s beginning, CRC has significantly expanded services to also provide a comprehensive, multicultural mental health program that serves more than 200 clients daily. In addition to mental health, CRC also provides services to address substance use and HIV.
